Overview

The candidate will be assessed for skills in Mobile Application security - In coding secure applications as well as analyzing malicious ones. NSD labs for the moment only focus on Symbian and Android Platforms.

Pre-requisites

1. Mobile Application development in Symbian / Android
2. Debugging Concepts.
3. Expertise in Reverse Code Engineering

Lab exam blueprint

The Lab Exam's goal is to help us get an In-Depth Analysis of the candidate's understanding of Mobile Application security domain. A sample malicious application will be provided for Symbian / Android. Your objective will be to provide analysis for the same.

• Ida Pro
• JAD, etc

Expected Solution Format

At the end of the lab exam, the candidate must submit a report that explains how exactly the Challenge was solved. Its expected to be as technical as possible with every single detail mentioned.

Report must include:-

• Tools used.
• The problems that you faced.
• Your approach to solve the problems.
• Source-code / Analysis of appliaction

Solutions have to be submitted in pdf / Word Document format.
